The fire station 5 in Köln Weidenpesch on the Scheibenstraße is generally restored and extended. The infrastructure is modernized in four consecutive construction phases to meet the increasing demands concerning the operational readiness. During the whole construction period the fire station was operating without restrictions.

The measure does not only include the renovation of existing premises but also the attachment of new functional areas. Our aim is to support the emergency services in the best way and to improve the working conditions. The plan is that the whole project is implemented in close coordination with the firefighters to ensure a smooth process.

The extension of the main fire station is not only an investment in the security of our citizens but also an acknowledgement to appreciate the daily work of the firefighters.
