On the premises of the School Center North in Niederkassel an extensive construction project is implemented which includes a modern school building, a multipurpose hall as well as a new campus restaurant. The new building will have a floor area of approximately 11.000m2 gross floor area (GFA) (Bruttogeschossfläche BGF) and is to be constructed as a three-floor building with a basement constructed with waterproof concrete and will be used as a cluster school with five classes per year.

The new school building will not only offer cluster spaces for the lessons but will also integrate administration rooms to ensure an efficient organization and administration of the school. The multipurpose hall with a gross floor area of approximately 4368m2 BGF/GFA) is designed as a triple sports hall and, in addition to that, can be used for various events to serve the school community and the public.

Th campus restaurant which is connected with the multipurpose hall by a common lobby will have a floor area of approximately 1383m2 GFA (BGF) and will have 384 seats. Partially planned as a two-floor building, the restaurant will consist of a modern cook & chill kitchen and a generous dining hall to ensure a high-quality catering for the pupils and the visitors. The whole construction measure will be implemented as a conventional construction on a construction site of approximately 21.500m2.
